(DPP) ensures all necessary steps are taken to comply with the Federal Personal Information and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) in addition to provincial privacy laws. We strive to maintain the highest standards of confidentiality to ensure the protection of your personal information while also adhering to the Canadian Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL). We will only communicate with you electronically with your consent or where the information is necessary to the on-going good standing of your financial plan and security. Client privacy is very important to us. 

 

How We Collect, Use, Share, Disclose and Retain Your Information:  

With your consent we collect necessary personal information to formulate advice and recommendations towards your financial security plan. The information we collect is for the sole purpose of providing advice. At various points in our relationship we may be required to share some or all this information with various suppliers including but not limited to; Investment firms, Insurance companies, their providers and intermediaries (EG: HUB Financial & Investia Financial Services), other service professionals. We are required to retain much of this information for regulatory authorities to demonstrate the planning advice and recommendation we make are suitable and address your identified needs.

 

Consent: 

Dynamic Planning Partners, its principal and employees, use your personal information to identify strategies, concepts, services and products to address the needs identified by you. By signing this form, you agree: 

  • To provide accurate, current and updated information throughout our business relationship particularly as your circumstances change. 
  • To allow DPP to use, share and disclose this information as needed with our suppliers, investment dealers, insurance providers, accounting professionals and wholesale organizations. 
  • To allow DPP to retain your information provided in our records for as long as we serve as your advisor or have a business or regulatory need.
  • To the assignment of your file, including your PI, to another advisor or firm, to continue to service your needs, if your advisor becomes incapacitated, dies or retire.  You will, however, have the right to choose your own advisor, should you not agree to the person chosen for the re-assignment.

 

How We Protect your Information: 

All principal(s), employees, dealers and associates that are granted access to client records as required by law and industry regulation to maintain privacy and confidentiality and to use your personal information only for the intended purpose identified in the scope of the advisory relationship. DPP has established physical and digital policies and safeguards for the protection of your privacy. DPP will never sell or disseminate your information to any person or organization outside the scope of our relationship. 

 

Your Privacy Choices: 

You may withdraw this consent at any time by providing reasonable notice. Withdrawal of this consent may prevent us from providing you with accurate and pertinent advice and recommendations. 

You may request access to your personal and other information, use and disclosure of that information by sending your request to our office. You will be given reasonable access to your information and will be entitled to challenge the accuracy and completeness of the information and to have it amended as appropriate. You can help maintain the accuracy of your information by notifying of any changes as they occur.  

 

Your Rights: 

You have the right to complain if there has been a breech or perceived breach of this policy or confidentiality directly to Dynamic Planning Partners, your service providers and/or the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
